Backpack Program
The Backpack Program takes place toward the end of every summer. Gardner CAC distributes 200 brand new backpacks to income-qualified students in grades K-12 attending schools in Gardner, Ashburnham, Hubbardston, and Templeton, and Westminster, Massachusetts. The backpacks are filled with school supplies for students who may not otherwise be able to start school with the necessary supplies.

Backpack registration for this school year has closed. Information about the 2026 Backpack Program will be shared here in the summer of 2026. Stay tuned!
